Catwalk training workshops provided (so you are guaranteed to be ready in time for the June 6 audition)

Des O’Connor Shoes: Catwalk Audition
Mission: To create fashionable and versatile shoes that help you “stand out and step ahead” – the only shoe in the world that combines detachable heels and products and services that can improve your personal life and professional career.
Please complete the online application form and submit together with the photo images requested below. The first 100 applicants will be invited to attend the audition (free of charge) to be held from 6pm on Saturday 6th June 2020, at the Holiday Inn, High Street Kensington London.
*Female models must be a minimum height of 5ft and no maximum height/weight required, with a good, confident walk. (If this is your first experience as a model, then we suggest you research walking in high heels confidently on YouTube as there are various instructional videos there, however we will have catwalk experts on hand who can train you).
*Models must be age 16 or older. Parental permission will be required if you are under the age of 18.
Model Requirements
Criteria: Free entry to apply! All we request is that you promote this event daily to all your contacts and sell at least 2 tickets (tickets will be on sale for guests/attendees from only £10 – £27 plus booking fee), create a WhatsApp group and invite all your friends/family, and share all over social media and record a video/Facebook Live as you would generate so much support.We will be providing training tips and dates. Be part of our team and we will support each other in creating a successful event!
All models must attend the June 6, 2020 event at Holiday Inn Kensington hotel, London. Heat 1, semi-final and final will be held on the same evening, so arrive from 5.00pm to be ready for 6.45pm start
Participation is free, but you must apply online by April 6 2020, at 5pm (any applications received after this date would be required to pay a late fee of £97 until the final closing date of May 6, 2020). See promo criteria.
You don’t need any experience but you must:
Love to wear high heels
Preferably have an Instagram account
Have a WhatsApp account
Know how to use Facebook Live and record videos from your mobile to share to your network, inviting all friends/family to share
No height/weight restrictions
You will be required to send a (similar) picture of yourself in the shoes/outfit you plan to wear on the audition(you are advised to wear black so the focus can be on the shoes 100% and not the outfit; images of preferred samples of shoes to follow)
You can wear any casual or business attire (not lingerie): including jeans, dresses, or skirts are acceptable in black only, as advised by fashion experts
You will be required to have one catwalk per heat for around 30-45 seconds (see catwalk training videos from here)
The focus is looking at how you walk in your own shoes (we will provide our shoes for the winner to wear at the final Launch event on September 5 2020)
After the first heat in the evening of June 6, 2020, judges will score you during the break and then the semi-final will be on the same evening, as the semi-finalists will be announced after the break.
The finalists will be selected (at the final after the Women in Business conference in the evening) on June 6 2020 at the Holiday Inn, Kensington
The shoe launch will be on Sep 5, 2020 from 10am – 5pm

Finalists will receive:
Their own professionally recorded videos of their catwalk auditions to be used for future/further opportunities
Trophy and picture with Des O’Connor (this will get you massive international exposure) and will be featured on our website as part of the Catwalk finalists winners section
The WINNER (one wonderful, talented model) will receive…
Selected as the face/foot of Des O’Connor Shoes for further promotion/photos which will be promoted globally/on all our promo material and possibly USA opportunities (as we plan to launch in USA in 2021)
Branding and marketing support to help receive more modelling opportunities in the UK and Internationally
Free design of your own fully branded model website (if required) value £3500
Use of our brand and implied credibility/modelling experience as part of your bio kit (fashion modelling kit) to get more modelling opportunities in the UK & internationally
